The Cumberland Hotel was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The common areas were easily accessible, with wide corridors and comfortable seating areas, which is very considerate for seniors like myself.
Better soundproofing needed against outside noise.

Our stay was fantastic, especially the lovely clean room with a stunning garden view and the delicious meals that catered to all tastes. We truly enjoyed the live entertainment and spent relaxing evenings on the sun terrace soaking up the vibe. The only small thing was that some hallways had a bit of an odd smell, but it didn't take away from our wonderful time at all! 😊

Perfect choice for a quick trip to Scarborough with decent value. The room was clean and had all essentials. Just be aware that the entertainment can get loud in the evening.

this hotel was lovely and the staff was super friendly. the breakfast was delish with plenty of options. rooms were nice and spacious. It was really clean. the location was perfect for exploring scarborough, easy to get to places. can't say enough good things about the comfy beds and nice amenities!
the water temp in my shower was all over the place, which was kinda dangerous and annoying. also, the heating in one of our rooms was really bad, felt cold most of the time.
